On November 25th, the National Finalsof2023 ChinaPostgraduate Enterprise Management Innovation Competition came to a successful conclusion at Shanghai University. The competition was guided by the Department of Academic Degrees andPostgraduate Education of the Ministry of Educationand co-hosted by the China Academic Degrees and Postgraduate Education Association and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology.It is a government-recognized and -guided competition, specifically tailored for postgraduate students.
The competition attracted 2,122 teams from 256 schools to register for, including 997 teams from 164 schools in the MBAcategory and 1,125 teams from 208 schools in thepostgraduate category. After the fierce competition in the preliminary and semi-final rounds,120 teams from across the countryexcelled in their respective trackstracks and advanced to the national finals.
After campus selectiontrailsand the preliminary and semi-final rounds of the national competition, the team“Blackstone Group”composed of Chen Chunyu, Liu Xuetong and Wang Xiaoting from the Business Administration (MBA) majorofHarbin University of Science and Technology, and the team "Innovation Genius" composed of Yu Mingzhi, Qi Kunyu, Wang Xiaoping and Feng Siqing from the Engineering Management and Business Administration majors, entered the national finals and won the first prize in both MBA and other postgraduatecategory.It was the first time,Harbin University of Science and Technology, as one of the 13 universities that entered the finals in both MBA and graduatecategory, won the first prize in both tracks.
The achievementsinthis competition are attributed to the guidance and strong support from thePostgraduateOffice.HUSThas always emphasized the cultivation of postgraduate studentsandbeen committed to promoting the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education. By integrating teaching, competition, and research,Hustempowerspostgraduate innovation and entrepreneurship education. The Graduate Office issued a notice of competition registration in early July 2023. School of Economics and Management conducted extensive publicity and mobilization among the graduates. And it also carefully organized the training of competition, the selection and guidance of the team members under the guidance of the Graduate Office. All teachers in the competition guidance team dedicated their vacation time to organizing team training. Through meticulous planning and collaboration between guiding teachers and participants, our university wontwonational first prizes,twonational second prizes, andthreenational third prizes.
