Good news! Professor Hu Jun of our university has been listed in "China's Highly Cited Scholars" list for three consecutive years

On March 28, Elsevier, a global information analysis company, officially issued the 2022 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. Professor Hu Jun, director of the School of Automation, doctoral supervisor, was once again selected as a Chinese Highly Cited Scholar in the field of mathematics! Professor Hu Jun has been on the list of "China's Highly Cited Scholars" for three consecutive years, demonstrating his important contributions and extensive academic influence in mathematics and related interdisciplinary fields.

Information shows that Elsevier's "China's Highly Cited Scholars" list uses the global citation and index database Scopus as the statistical source to analyze Chinese scholars' performance and their scientific research achievements. The 2022 Elsevier "China Highly Cited Scholars" list has a total of 5,216 people from 504 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions, covering 84 first-level disciplines in 10 discipline fields set by the Ministry of Education. The basic data of this list adopts a newly updated and instituted discipline classification method (incorporating 111 disciplines), which helps Chinese scholars to better demonstrate their academic research ecology in fields of discipline affiliation, representation, etc. With the help of such method, the scientific output of Chinese scholars can be demonstrated fully, soundly and accurately, which provides effective aids for further organization, analysis and study of scholars' performance in relevant field.
