Recently, 120 outstanding cases were selected nationwide as a result of students“one-stop”community professionalism demonstration activities in colleges and universities hosted by the Department of Ideological and Political Work of the Ministry of Education and co-hosted by the National College Ideological and Political Network.
Applied by the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee of HUST, the case“Deepening the Party Building and Leading, Taking Root in the‘Red Fortress’”was rated as a national excellent case, and was included in the resource database of the national ideological and political work network of colleges and universities. It is exhibited on the cloud platform of students’“one-stop" community comprehensive management model construction work. Our school is the only university in Heilongjiang Province that has been selected as an excellent case.
The activity aims to select the outstanding achievements of“one-stop”community work withmarkedeffectsanddistinctive features, whichareworthpromoting, and show students’accomplishments of community construction according to the four units of“Party building and leading, three-comprehensive education, safe community and intelligent service”.
In 2022, the school integrated the resources of students’community work, and successfully applied for and was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent pilot unit for the construction of students’“one-stop”community comprehensive management model. Since the pilot project for the construction of the“one-stop”student community has begun, the school has closely focused on the goal of“three-comprehensive education”and implemented the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and talent through a comprehensive layout, key promotion, step-by-step implementation, and strengthened efforts. It has built a new pattern of party building and talent cultivation, adhered to party building as the guiding force for comprehensive management of student communities, extended multidimensional functions such as academic support, employment guidance, epidemic prevention and control, safety education, and mental health, and constructed a“party building + talent cultivation”functional module.
It aims to create an education-oriented community culture cultivated by the CPC heritage, realize the“coordination+ interaction”between party building and the community, develop the construction of the students“one-stop”community to its full potential, and contribute to the school’s“Double First-Class”initiative. The goal is to create a comprehensive, optimized, innovative, and stable student work platform that leads students to develop comprehensively with moral grounding, intellectual ability, physical vigor, aesthetic sensibility and work skills.
