On the afternoon of August 24th, Li Shufu, Chairman of Geely Holding Group and well-known alumnus inHarbinUniversity ofScience andTechnology; Li Donghui, CEO of Geely Holding Group; Yang Xueliang, Senior Vice President of Geely Holding Group; Shi Lei, Director of the Office of Chairman of Geely Holding Group, and Liu Ying, Vice President of Asia-Pacific Government Affairs of Volvo Car, and others came to our school. Li Shufu andthe othersvisited the School History Museum, Wang Daheng Memorial Hall, High Voltage Experiment Hall, New Energy Motor System and Key Materials Innovation Center of our school. Li Shufu affirmed the achievements of school. He said that he felt a strong alma mater's complex during this trip, and hoped that the school would further develop its academic advantages, promote the construction of scientific research platforms and the transformation of scientific research achievements, and continue to strengthen the cooperation betweenGeely Holding Groupand the school in Industry-University-Research and other aspects.

Zhao pointed out that Harbin University of Science and Technologyis rootedin the fertile soil of Longjiang River,cultivatingthe electromechanical industry. It has become the largestuniversity of science and technologyin the province with distinctive characteristics and relatively strongcapability. More than 200,000HUSTstudents, represented by Li Shufu, have made contributions where the motherland needs them most. The school also hopes to further deepen the cooperation withGeely Holding Group, and makesgreatprogress intalenttrainingandachievement transformation, serving local economic and social development, jointly promoting the construction of “Six Longjiang” constructions and implementing alumni investment promotion.
