Professor Cai delivers a speech at the 7th China-Russia High Technology Roundtable of Application Development and Science and Technology Cooperation

On the afternoon of July 5, the 7th China-Russia High Technology Roundtable of Application Development and Science and Technology Cooperation was held online and off-line in Harbin co-hosted by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and the Department of Science and Technology of Heilongjiang Province.

The theme of this conference is "Innovation, Coordination, Sharing and Win-win". The conference focused on the cooperation of major projects in key areas, and carried out negotiation of innovation, cooperation and promotion of key projects among high-end think tanks in the fields of new energy vehicles, electric drive, carbon materials, intelligent manufacturing and digital economy.

Cai Wei, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and a professor of Harbin University of Science and Technology, was invited to deliver a keynote report entitled "New Energy Vehicle Motor Controller and Silicon Carbide (SiC) chip packaging and material technology" in the promotion of key projects. It reports the role of new energy vehicles in energy conservation and emission reduction under China's "dual-carbon" strategy, and the development of electric vehicles in the world and China.

The conference is jointly organized by Harbin Science and Technology Bureau, Russian Instrument Manufacturing and Information and Communication International Alliance, Heilongjiang Academy of Sciences, Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center, Shenzhen Securities Information Co., LTD., and China Technology Exchange. Online conference received more than 22,000 page views.

 

Popov Genadji, vice president of the Russian International Union of Instrument Manufacturing and Communication and chairman of the Expert Committee, chairs the meeting online.

The Roundtable was founded in 2015 and was held in Harbin, China and Yekaterinburg, Russia, respectively. It is an important landmark event of science, technology and innovation cooperation between China and Russia, and has played a role in promoting the high-tech innovation cooperation between the two countries.
