Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 2018 National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Projectafter acomprehensive review and publicity on the basis of the recommendation of all the nation-wide provincial education administrative departments, of which 296 virtual simulation experiment teaching projectsgot accreditationas the 2018 National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Project.

HUST has got accreditation for two virtual simulation experiment teaching projects, namely,“Virtual Simulation Experiment of Welding Manufacturing Process of Typical Pressure Vessel”by Liu Yang, Teacher of Material Forming and Control Engineering Department of School of Materials Science and Engineering, and“Virtual Simulation Experiment on Cutting and Tool Wear of Metal Materials”by Fu Pengqiang, Teacher of Mechanical Design and Manufacture and Its Automation Department of School of Mechanical Design and Manufacture and Its Automation.

Of all the eleven teaching projects gained by Heilongjiang Province, the rest seven go respectively toHarbin Institute of Technology, Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, Harbin Medical University, Northeast Agricultural University and Northeast Petroleum Universityas is shown in detail in the list below.

In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education,HUSTwillcontinue to do its bestto improve the construction of the virtual simulation experiment teaching project, strengthen guidance and input, speed up the innovation of the mechanism, advance the extensive application, andconsistently improve the quality of practical teachingso as topromote the inclusive development of higher education.
