During the fifteenth anniversary of the School of Art and the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching in our school, on May 6th, the School of Art and the Harbin Red Square Art Museum collaborated together to plan the grand feast of exhibition of teachers and students of the School of Art so as to reward the attention and trust of the general public and the art groups.
The exhibition was prepared by the teachers and students of the institute, including The Third Hall of the Harbin Red Square Art Museum, the Sunshine Hall of the 1st Teaching Building on south campus and the 1st floor of the library on south campus. The works were novel in form, diverse in subject matter and rich in content. They brought together excellent teachers and students’ works of painting, design, animation, including oil painting, Chinese painting, watercolor, sculpture, ceramic art, visual communication, public art, environmental design, digital media, photography, animation and VR video, games and derivative products and other art categories. The exhibition has greatly enriched the cultural connotation of the activities, satisfied the aesthetic needs of the audience, which is a collection of publicity, value conversion, public service. It was such a creative activity with complex function and value.
On May 8, evaluation experts Liu Shaowu, deputy dean of Harbin Institute of Physical Education, and Li Qingxia, director of the Department of Academic Affairs of Harbin Normal University, accompanied by the heads of department and some teachers and students, visited the exhibition hall of Sunshine Hall and the exhibition hall of library. Through the exchange with the members of the School of Art and the introduction of the teachers and students, the two evaluation experts highly appraised the exhibition, and put forward their own opinions and suggestions.
The exhibition fully embodies the exquisite skills and artistic creativity of the teachers and students, and it is also a full display of the teaching results of our art education.
