According to the resolution of HUST Party Committee, from April 11thto 22nd, school leaders were to popularize the 12thFive-Year Plan of HUST, and grasp the situation of the plan drafting in each department, then give comments and advices.
The Plan has been drafted from the first half of last year, and experienced two stages, namely, the developing orientation and development planning. As a programmatic document, the Plan has been carried out and attached great importance. To make the whole staff fully understand and get involved in the plan and the construction of our school, each school leader prepared the speech with great care, exploiting rich means such as PPT, multi-media, conducting the comparison and contrast more directly and vividly.
During the preaching tour, school leaders reviewed the achievements acquired in the 11thFive-Year Plan, summarized experiences and inadequacy, analyzed the chances and challenges encountered in the process of HUST development and construction, and expounded the guideline and objectives of the Plan. They also discussed over the developing programs of each department with the attendants, and gave comments and suggestions, indicating that the developing program of each department must be based on the Plan of HUST, and combined with the actual circumstances. They summoned all the staff members to pour their enthusiasm into the development and construction of our school. All directors reacted to the preaching tour with great passion, expressing that the tour will surely play an active role in strengthening the development of each department, meanwhile it points out the direction and raises their confidence in the future work.
In cooperation with this preaching tour, each department was prudent in the preparation and organization before each speech, which enabled all the faculty members to attend satisfactorily, and achieved a best effect. The preaching strikes roots in people’s hearts, boosts popular morale, and promotes our cohesion, building up a fine circumstance for the smooth implementation of the Plan.(The pictures were provided by
