Before winter break, the work, study and living conditions of Harbin University of Science and Technology (HUST) were thoroughly investigated by the Organization Department of the Party Committee (ODOPC). 23,000 Party membership dues were distributed as grant to 77 seriously ill members and those with special difficulties, according to their real circumstances, which shows the Party’s sincere solicitude. Additionally, on behalf of the Party, each General Party Branch and the General Party Branch of Administration Affiliates were required by HUST Party Committee to visit and express sympathy to seriously ill members and those with special difficulties in each department.
On Chinese Lunar New Year Eve, the Vice Party Secretary Lu Yan, the Director of ODOPC Zhang Yongjun, the Deputy Director of ODOPC Yao Xiurong and other relevant personnel visited some seriously ill members and those with special difficulties, and sent them grant. On behalf of the Party, they showed gratitude for those members’ past hard work and contributions to HUST’s scientific development, talked about HUST’s achievements in building high-level teaching and research university, and looked forward to better prospects for HUST’s development.
