On Dec. 24, Professor Gao Jun, HUST’s Party Secretary and Professor Lu Yan, HUST’s vice Party Secretary, attended a symposia on the construction of study-leading party groups in higher educational institutions of Heilongjiang Province.

Focused on the theme of cultivating better teaching groups for Ideological and Political Theory Course of university, the symposia publicized the spirits of related meetings held by Central and Provincial CCP Committee, made a summarization and exchange of the working experience regarding the construction of study-leading party groups and ideological and political theory course teaching, and studied the working program for the near future.

On behalf of HUST, Gao made a speech entitled Constructing Study-leading Party Group with Scientific Appraisement Indicator System for the working experience exchange of the symposia.

“By making an appraisement indicator system beneficial to HUST, study-leading party group construction has been promoted effectively,” noted Gao, “With the ideal of whole-staff study and whole-life study setting up in minds, more and more party members are actively taking part in the university’s study-leading party group construction, which has boosted the conducts of various HUST’s work greatly.”

Gao also said that HUST’s indicator system would be further adapted next year to meet the requirement of implementing the “12th Five-year Plan”.

Representatives from seven other universities, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin Normal University, etc., introduced their experience as well.
