Party Secretary of HUST Gao Jun and President of HUST Li Dayong inspected Rongcheng College on 30th, Sep. In the company of President of Rongcheng College Zhang Su, Branch Party Secretary Shi Zhensen, Party Secretary Gao Jun and President Li Dayong visited the campus, inspected the new dining hall, experts’ apartment and water pump house, etc. and spoke highly of the work Rongcheng College had finished.
Party Secretary Gao Jun and President Li Dayong met the secretary of Rongcheng City Wang Xuewen, the mayor Hou Shichao and the party group secretary general of Rongcheng City Xu Dongpu respectively, and they exchanged views on the issue of selling the land of the residential district phase II of Rongcheng College’ staff to Huaxing Co, Ltd. of Rongcheng City. And they reached agreement on the issues of how to escape risk and how to guarantee the safety of funds.
Both parties considered that selling the land of the residential district phase II not only implemented theAgreement of Co-founding the Rongcheng College of HUST, but also was an effective way to solve the problem of the lack of funds in the process of development and construction of Rongcheng College, which was of great significance to the development and construction of Rongcheng College.
Party Secretary Gao Jun and President Li Dayong emphasized that the Rongcheng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government monitored and managed in accordance with the law, and urged each party to finish their job, which guaranteed the smooth implementation of the agreement of land selling and also ensured the funds of the development and construction of Rongcheng College.
The leaders of Rongcheng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government claimed that since the signing of the agreement, the leaders of HUST and Rongcheng College whose effort had won high praise engaged great energy in the construction of Rongcheng College. They also claimed that they would continue to support the construction of Rongcheng College.
