The Provincial Postgraduate Electronic Design Contest was hosted by High Education Office of Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, and the first contest was successfully held in 2010. The contest is increasingly becoming an effective platform where postgraduates can explore practical problems, carry out academic exchanges, improve the ability of innovation and cultivate team spirit. The contest is gaining popularity among the postgraduates and in the society as well. The contest has received positive responses and support from higher institutions and research institutes.
The Second Provincial Postgraduate Electronic Design Contest was hosted by HIT. HUST sent a delegation in the hope that the contest would help train the students’ ability of innovation, the ability of engineering practice and team spirit. With the careful preparation on the part of School of Graduate Studies, the discussion with previous winners on the part of the teachers, and the propaganda and mobilization, the participation, the competition training, and the guidance on the part of School of Measurement-Control Technology and Communications Engineering, 9 teams in the school stood out and entered the final contest after the school selection, and 2 teams won the first prizes, 3 teams won the second prizes, and 4 teams won the third prizes through the fierce competition. The Eighth Chinese Postgraduate Electronic Design Contest in the Northeast China Division will be held from July to August this year. The enrollment work is under way. Teachers as well as students are expected to participate in the contest actively, and win another success for the school.
