On the afternoon of March 21, a briefing was held in the meeting room of Rongcheng Campus shortly after Party Secretary Gao Jun’s arrival, with all cadres above the level of deputy department director from the Campus.

It was for the purpose of making inspection and guidance on the advancement of all working plans of Rongcheng Campus that Party Secretary Gao went there. In the briefing, having carefully debriefed the work reports presented by Dean Zhang Su and Branch Party Secretary Shi Zhensen, and some other attendants on their individual job accomplishment in 2012 and working plans in 2013, Gao put forward a five-point proposal for the future work of campus. Then, on behalf of HUST’s leading staff, he expressed his sincere solicitude to the whole teaching staff working there and hoped they could work harder to make more contributions to our university.

On March 22, accompanied by Yu Yandong, vice mayor of Rongcheng and Zhang Shaowu, vice party committee secretary of Rongcheng Economic & Technology Development Zone, Party Secretary Gao visited the construction site of Rongcheng Incubator and showed great interest in the construction details. After the visit, Gao returned Rongcheng Campus and inspectioned the construction of some infrastructure projects such as the faculty apartments, the new canteen, etc.
