On July 5, the Secretary of Party Committee of Harbin University of Science and Technology, Zhao Guogang spent a whole day to investigate and have an interview with several schools which are School of Power and Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Applied Science School and Architectural Engineering School. During the investigation, Secretary Zhao Guogang had a deep discussion with the chief leaders of these schools, focusing on the overall situation in discipline construction, scientific study, construction of teaching staff and talents cultivation and the developments in these schools. In the meanwhile, Zhao Guogang took the advice and suggestions from the chief leaders of various schools. During the interview, Secretary Zhao visited the laboratories of School of Power and Mechanical Engineering and Architectural Engineering, and talked with the teaching staff and students who were working in the laboratories.

During the interview with several schools, Secretary Zhao pointed out that we should cultivate the positive mind, pass on the positive energy, exert our own advantages and develop the communication and cooperation both within the university and with other universities, based on our developing history, excellent scientific base and teaching staff. He suggested that we should do our best and make contribution to our university.
