Before the Spring Festival, according to the united deployment launched by HUST CPC Committee, a small delegation led by Vice Party Secretary Lu Yan and Zhang Yongjun, the director ofOrganizationDepartment, was sent to visit the homes of three HUST Party members with long party standings, i.e. Professor Wang Mengchun, Professor Wang Qingtao and Professor Li Chunyuan, as well as some Party members who are suffering from serious diseases or life difficulties.

As a part of the work of HUST CPC committee to further her mass line education practice and optimize her intra-Party care in HUST, the visit is made after a series of detailed service, evaluations and conferences to determine the would-be visited namelist, for which the CPC Committee appropriated RMB 24,000yuanfrom her management fund to allot allowances for all 67 Party members who are suffering from serious diseases or life difficulties beforewinter vacation.

Onbehalf of CPC Committee, Vice Party Secretary Lu and the other delegation members expressed heart-felt gratitude to the three professors for their continuous concern and support on HUST’s development, and delivered sincere sympathy and solitude for all these suffering from serious diseases or life difficulties they visited.

During this winter vacation, all HUST Party organizations at grass-roots levels were also ordered to pay similar visits to the homes of the Party members with long party standings or life difficulties subordinate to them in accordance with actual situations.
