On the morning of Oct 13, hosted by Zhang Xianyou, the vice mayor of Harbin and vice chairman of Heilongjiang Committee of  Association for Promoting Democracy, the celebration for the 30th anniversary of Heilongjiang Committee of  Association for Promoting Democracy was held in the CPPCC Auditorium of Heilongjiang Province.

There were some leaders of the Committee presented at the celebration, among whom Cheng Youdong, the vice chairman of Heilongjiang’s CPPCC and chairman of Heilongjiang Committee ofAssociation for Promoting Democracy, who delivered an important speech entitled “High-quality Party Participating in Government and Political Affairs in Accordance with the Call of Times”, while Han Huifang, the deputy director of provincial Department of Culture and vice chairman of Heilongjiang Committee of Association for Promoting Democracy, who declared the result of the Committee’s 2013-2014 annual appraising for advanced primary organizations and outstanding members at provincial level.

Over200members fromall branches of Association for Promoting Democracyin Heilongjiang Province, including 15 from HUST branch, which was granted the title of “advanced primary organization” on this ceremony, led by Jiang Yufeng, the branch chairman and dean of HUST’s School of Foreign Language, who was granted the title of “outstanding member” on this ceremony, attended the celebration as well.

The ceremony was also a report-back meeting for six representatives of the honored groups or individuals to introduce the excellent deeds of their branches or their own, which motivated the other attendees so greatly that they all expressed their determinations to fulfill themselves on both their occupational posts and their participation in government and political affairs, at the end of the meeting.
