At 14:00, May 19，a 9-member delegation from Heilongjiang CPPCC led by Chairman Du Yuxin and Vice Chairman Gong Jingkun, paid a field investigation to HUST National University Sci & tech Park (hereafter referred to as the Park). HUST’s Party Secretary Zhao Guogang, Vice President Guo Erjun and the top leaders from some departments concerned, including Director Man Chuntao from Office of University Affairs, Director Yu Xiaoyang from Sci & tech Department and General Manager Yu Yandong of the Park, accompanied the investigation.
In investigation, having listened to the introduction of the Park’s overall information, Chairman Du and his party visited some of its specific service areas, such as Maker Space, Innovation Class, Innovation Dream Works, IC Cafe, and so on. Chairman Du showed great concern about the undergraduates and graduates working there and exchanged ideas sincerely with them.
The delegation also visited two enterprises in the Park, i.e. Harbin Yunkai Technology Development Co. Ltd and Harbin Honghan Technology Development Co. Ltd, as well as the Incubators for Teachers’ Scientific Research, esp., Harbin Xinsiyuan Energy Conservation Service Technology Development Co. Ltd, and listened to the presentation made by Duan Xiaodan, Li Nan and Wei Yaping, who are in charge of the above-mentioned three corporations respectively, on their own business or products, which satisfied the delegation a lot.
After the field investigation, hosted by Vice President Guo Erjun, a symposium was held between the delegation and HUST accompanying cadres in the Second Meeting Room of theFirstTeachingBuilding, West Campus, in which Party Secretary Zhao and General Manager Yu reported the construction achievements and future program of HUST or the Park briefly in turns. Then the attendees discussed heatedly on the Park’s characteristics, assessment and sustainable development, etc., while Vice President Guo demonstrated the distinct characteristics of non-profit public welfare the Park was of and hoped to get fund support from governments to achieve its sustainable development better.
In conclusion, Chairman Du affirmed the success of this investigation and expressed his appreciation for Park’s status quo as well as the fruits every enterprise there had reaped up to now.
