On May 15 and 17, the2015 Sino-US International Men’s Basketball Game(Harbin) was held in the sports complex of Northeast Forestry University. Sponsored by the Basketball Sports Management Center of State Administration of Sports and the Sports Bureau of Heilongjiang Province, this game was hosted by Harbin Power Source Sports Culture Media Co. Ltd. withNortheastForestryUniversityas the co-host. Two competitions were held betweenChina Men’s Basketball Teamand American Professional Basketball United Team in this game.

This is the second time for China Men’s Basketball Team to compete in Harbin after the Sino-European Men’s Basketball Game held in Harbin last year. Trained by Gong Luming, head coach of China Men’s Basketball Team, after painstaking efforts, the team members have greatly improved their individual skills and teamwork corporations. This 2015 Sino-US International Men’s Basketball Game is the first of the preseason games for China Men’s Basketball Team.

Cheerleader HUST is among the best of the cheerleaders in northeastChina. To cheer forChina Men’s Basketball Team, Cheerleader HUST would show their youthful mien in front of the public in the Ice City of Harbin. During the intervals of the game, Cheerleader HUST gave performances with great passions. Their excellent performances, energetic, dynamic and eye-catching, were broadcast inHeilongjiang Morning PostentitledButterflies on the Basketball Court. It was, also, relayed in other mainstream media like Ifeng.com, Tencent Sports and Sina Sports. All of these mainstream media sang high praise for the excellent performance given by Cheerleader HUST.

Under the leadership of Su Li (head coach), Cheerleader HUST had choreographed 10 sets of new dances within 2 months since they got the invitation of performance from China Men’s Basketball Team. In order to demonstrate the healthy, energetic, positive and elegant demeanors of the students from HUST by means of this stage, all the cheerleader members devoted most of their spare time to training, practice and preparations. They made full use of every minute in practicing the dances in the training center in the evening and night until it is about to close. After training and practice, those members who came from South Campus and East Campus had to go back to their dorms respectively by taxi at their own expenses. Late as it was, they would work deep into the night in doing their assignments given by the teachers in the daytime. They would mainly do their assignments in the hallway in case they should interrupt other roommates. Thanks to their hardworking and painstaking efforts, their performances were made so eye-catching and successful. They also got invitation to give performances on Monday evening to cheer for the 2015 AUBA Basketball Final of Harbin University of Science and Technology in the sports complex. On Tuesday evening, they will cheer for HUST Football League All Star Game to be held on the football playground of the south campus. Furthermore, they will also present their excellent performances on the opening ceremony of the university’s sports meet next Friday.
