On the morning of July 17, hosted by Lu Hao, the governor and vice Party secretary of Heilongjiang Provincial People’s Government, a symposium on enhancing high & new technique industrialization and students’ career exploring was held for the leaders of universities, institutes and key research institutions in Huayuancun Hotel. HUST’s President Li Dayong, Vice Party Secretary Meng Shangjiu and Vice President Guo Erjun attended the symposium.

Besides the main leaders of some universities, institutes and key research institutions of our province, the attendees also include Sun Dongsheng and Hu Yafeng, two vice governors, and Song Xibin, mayor of Harbin Municipal People’s Government, as well as leaders from the relevant administrative organs directly affiliated to central, provincial or municipal government. By delivering keynote speeches on the work having been done to enhance high & new technique industrialization or students’ career exploring in their own units, they shared their experiences and proposed their suggestions.

President Li delivered his keynote speech on behalf of HUST. He confirmed the significance of enhancing high & new technique industrialization and students’ career exploring, and introduced what HUST had done on the two jobs.

Governor Lu listened closely to all keynote speeches, interrupting the speakers to ask some questions from time to time, or to answer the questions delivered to him. Finally, he claimed some deployments for further promoting the two jobs and encouraged the attendees to deepen their understandings, work together to form joint effort and implement the established decisions more resolutely.
