On the morning of June 29, 2015, the signing and unveiling ceremonies of Harbin University of Science and Technology and Aerospace Science & Industry Shenzhen (Group) Co., LTD to build jointly the “R&D Center for High Precision Cutting Tool Union of School and Enterprise” and “Collaborative Innovation Center for Advanced Machining Tools Technology and Its Equipment” were held in Shenzhen Aerospace Building.

Vice President of HUST Guo Erjun, the Director of School of Mechanical and Power Engineering Liu Xianli, Vice Director Jiang Bin, Chairman of Board of Aerospace Science & Industry Shenzhen (Group) Co., LTD Cui Yuping, General Manager Luan Jubao, Deputy Secretary Song Weiwu, Vice General Manager Song Youjun, General Manager of Tool Company Pan Enguang as well as the directors of functional departments of the group headquarters attended the signing and unveiling ceremonies.

After the signing and unveiling ceremonies, the Director of School of Mechanical and Power Engineering Liu Xianli gave a lecture entitled High Precision Cutting Tool Technology. The school and enterprise reached several cooperation agreements on building the practice base for undergraduates and graduates based on joint Research and Development Center and Collaborative Innovation Center, the enterprise giving priority to the students from HUST for employment, having research and development on cutting tool products jointly, applying for higher level scientific research platform together and other issues.
