Invited by HUST, a delegation of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation has visited our university recently, including Doctor Jiu Jingdong, director of Technical Development Division of 1st Department of 1st Academy, Doctor Yi Hang, director of 6th Office of 1st Department, and Doctor Kang Jian, engineer of 6th Office of 1st Department. Professor Guo Erjun, vice president of our university met the delegation.
Vice President Guo Erjun firstly extended a warm welcome to the leaders from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. Then he introduced the prominent scientific projects and achievements of our university, the cooperative projects with national defense corporations, and certification of confidential qualification. He expressed our strong desire to cooperate with national defense corporations, especially with giant corporations like China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, as a collaborative college approved by Heilongjiang Provincial Government and State National Defense Science and Industry Bureau. We are willing to be engaged in research projects concerning national major demands and significant development plans through such cooperation. Simultaneously, our university encourages our teachers and research fellows to devote themselves to the national aerospace industry. The cooperation not only provides a chance for staff in HUST to learn and practice on a high level platform, but also makes staff in HUST involved in China aerospace development. Our university hopes that the cooperation between the group led by professor Sun Guanglu from School of Computer Science and Technology and 1st Department of 1st Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation is just a starting point, and more chances can be found in the future to extend and deepen the cooperation in the future, making joint effort for contributing to our national aerospace industry.
Director Liu expressed the welcome from HUST, and agreed with vice president Guo’s suggestion on promoting scientific cooperation. He introduced the basic state and scientific fields of 1st Department of 1st Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. Later, Director Yi introduced the demand of project presently cooperated with HUST, and expressed satisfaction with the proceeding of the project. Leaders from 1st Department of 1st Academy also expressed the expectation to deepen cooperation in more fields with our university, and invited leader and teachers from HUST to visit 1st Department of 1st Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, in order to further understand each other and lay a good foundation for future cooperation between both parties.
The delegation is also accompanied by Professor Sun Guanglu and Associate professor He Yongjun from School of Computer Science and Technology.
