On April 28, Heilongjiang provincial federation of trade unions held a congress to celebrate the Labor’s Day, to award the labors who did great progress in innovative aspects, giving honors to the advanced units and individuals who made great contributions in the construction of economy, politics, culture, society and ecological civilization. Our Mechanical Engineering School was awarded the honor of Heilongjiang Provincial National May 1st Labor Certificate. On behalf of his School, Lin Yi, the secretary of the party committee and the deputy director of Mechanical Engineering School, attended the meeting and accepted the award on the stage.

There are 11 units which get the award. Mechanical Engineering School is the unique unit in university getting the honor. There are 154 members of teaching staff, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center, 1 national innovative talents fostering center, and 2 national engineering experimental centers in the Mechanical Engineering School. The whole staff of this school make efforts to contributing the development of our university and the provincial economy.
