In Feb., 2016, Engineering Index (EI) issued the latest inclusion; Electric Machines and Control was included by EI again.

EI is a world famous search tool, and the authoritative database around the world, which featured on comprehensive and innovative collection of literature in the aspect of engineering technology. Therefore, EI is recognized by the academy of all the research agencies, and is named as the core of innovation in engineering technology. Its adjustment featured on wide adjustment, severe standard, complex quotation index, and heated competition. Even though, Electric Machines and Control is still included by EI, which proves the excellent academic standard. There are all together over 3,000 Chinese journals, but only 216 are included.

Electric Machines and Control is supposed to reflect latest research and innovative academic fruit in electric engineering and control science. The authors are mainly experts and researchers from higher institutions, enterprises and academies at home and abroad. Due to strict standard and severe management, the journal developed rapidly and became an influential journal in electric machines and control, which adds academic honor to HUST.

Electric Machines and Control is also included by British SA, INSPEC, Russian AJ, Japanese JST, American Ulrich PD, and Chinese CSCD, RCCSE and ASPT. Being included by EI is a great honor and shoulders tremendous responsibility. Editors are going to construct the platform well, strengthen the features of the journal, and ultimately contribute to the construction of HUST.
