The eighth secondary commission of Heilongjiang Social Science Association was held on March 12. Lu Yan, our deputy party secretary and vice chairman of our university social sciences, Li Yuhua, vice director of Scientific Research Office, and the representatives of award-winning teachers attended the meeting. Zhang Xiaolian, Member of the Standing Committee of Heilongjiang Province, Minister of Propaganda, Chairman of Provincial Social Science Association was present at the meeting and delivered his speech. Li Jihua, Party Secretary of Provincial Social Science Association and vice chairman, gave his working report of the eighth secondary commission of Heilongjiang Social Science Association. In the meeting, 578 items of social science projects are rewarded 16thoutstanding achievement awards. 29 items are from our university, among them, 3 items for first prize, 4 items for second prize, 14 items for third prize, and 8 items for excellent work prize.
The outstanding achievement award of Heilongjiang social sciences appraises once every two years, aiming at inspiring researchers’ activity and creativity, promoting prosperity and development of our provincial philosophy and social sciences. The assessment work of 16thoutstanding achievement award received great importance from our university and related college leaders.
The outstanding achievement award ofHeilongjiangsocial science is the top prize in the research field of our provincial social sciences, which has great effect in our provincial social sciences circle, and received much attention from social scientists. The 29 winning items are the display of our social scientific research achievements. The achievements play a positive role in promoting the development of our provincial social sciences and accelerating the healthy economic growth in our province.
