The Party Committee of Rong Cheng School pay high attention to Liu after they learn the information. They propose the donation among all the teaching staff and students. At the noon on Oct. 23rd, the donation started. The Youth League Committee organized various organizations, such as Materials Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, Students’ Union, Youth Volunteers Association, Mental Health Association to set the donation sites in front of the dining hall and library. During the process of donation, volunteers introduced in details Liu’s situation by the internet and posters. The donating students expressed their good wishes to Liu. The donation continued two days, and the donation fee amounted to 70 thousands Yuan.
On the afternoon of Oct. 28th, the teaching staff made donation for Liu in the hall of library. Du Ye, the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee hosted the donation ceremony. He introduced Liu’s treatment in the hospital and expressed the gratitude for all those who care and help Liu. He hoped that Liu can resist the disease and go back to the college as soon as possible.
In addition, some social organizations also offer their help to Liu through Charity Federation in Shang Dong Province and Rong Cheng Civil Affairs Bureau. At the same time, the media call for more people to focus on Liu and help him and his family through some social organizations.
