On June 27th, the China Engineering Education Accreditation Association released the conclusions of the 2022 Engineering Education Professional Accreditation. Our university’s Material Science and Chemical Engineering program has been accredited for a duration of 6 years (conditional), effective from January 2023 to December 2028. Currently, a total of 17 programs in our university have obtained accreditation, leading among provincial universities. Simultaneously, the association issued the 2022 midterm review results, certifying our Material Molding and Control Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Measurement and Control TechnologyandInstruments, and Software Engineering programs. Each of these programs received a conditional accreditation valid until December 2025.

Professional accreditation serves as a crucial lever to reinforce the development of specialized content. Our university will continue to uphold the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) philosophy, actively promoting accreditation efforts, enhancing the quality of undergraduate talent cultivation, further refining the undergraduate education and teaching system, ensuring the high-quality development of undergraduate education and teaching, and contributing to the university’s objective of establishing itself as a distinguished domestic first-class engineering and technology institution.
