On the morning of May 17th, the 2018’s annual compilation conference of Harbin Yearbook was held at Fei Long Hotel. The conference honored the outstanding writers and excellent organizers of Harbin Yearbook in 2017. Teacher Zhang Qiang from the Propaganda Department of our school was awarded the honorary title of "outstanding writer" of Harbin Yearbook in 2017.
At the meeting, Li Chunhua, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of local chronicles, summed up the main tasks of Harbin Yearbook in 2017 and arranged the main tasks of Harbin Yearbook in 2018. Zhao Zhubo, the Secretary and director of the Party committee of the Municipal Bureau of local chronicles, pointed out that we should work closely around the work of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government to carry out the work of Yearbook’s compilation; adhere to the principles of closing to life, closing to reality, closing to the masses and closing to the society; truly record the historical process of the economic and social development of the city, and objectively reflect the economic and social achievement of the city. We should carry forward the spirit of craftsmen, and constantly enhance the awareness of refining the quality of the Yearbook, so as to further improve the compilation quality of the Yearbook. At the new historical starting point, we will create a new situation in the compilation of Harbin Yearbook, providing important public opinion support and intellectual support for the city's reform, construction and development.
The leaders at the meeting awarded 42 honorary certificates to the winning delegates. In this commendation event, only Harbin Institute of Technology and Harbin University of Science and Technology were honored.
At the meeting, Xiao Lihong and Tian Di from the Municipal Office of local chronicles, conducted the annual compilation training for participants.
Harbin Yearbook is a large annual data book administrated by Harbin people's government and published by the local chronicle Office. Under the correct leadership of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government in the last two years, under the guidance of the concept of "the overall situation, the peaceful construction, the kindness edition and the continuous innovation" in the local chronicle office, the whole city participating units have given great support to the work of the Yearbook, working together with the Harbin Yearbook society, constantly innovating, and comprehensively raising the quality of Harbin Yearbook.
Our university actively supports the compilation work of Harbin Yearbook. Teacher Zhang Qiang from the Propaganda Department, has completed the work of high quality every year and has won the honorary title of "outstanding writer" many times. In 2016, Zhang Qiang as a representative of the award-winning representative, made a typical speech at the Yearbook compilation working conference, and was fully affirmed and highly recognized by Zhang Xianyou, vice mayor of Harbin.
