In order to further carry out the overall scientific and technological arrangement from the party committee of our university, actively combine all the work into university development, some schools, based on the related innovation teams and combined with distinctive features and advantages, cooperate with the local governments, universities and enterprises and co-construct the innovation center and build a new pattern for the scientific development.
On May 5, based on the National & Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of High Efficiency Cutting Tools, Harbin University of Science and Technology had the detailed discussion with Chang Zhou Xixiashu Tools Industry Institute. They reached an agreement about the cooperative framework. Those who attended the conference were: Yan Jianyu who is the president of the National People’s Congress in Chang Zhou Xixiashu, Ma Haishan who is the chairman of Hai Li Tool Co. Ltd., Zou Chunying who is the director of Enterprise Innovation Development Center and Zhou Yaqin who is the head of science and technology department in Xixiashu Enterprise Innovation and Development Center. Guo Erjun, the vice-president, Liu Xianli dean of Mechanics School, Zhang Hui deputy director of Science and Technology Department and Jiang Bin deputy dean of Mechanics School attended the conference.
Chang Zhou Xixiashu has nearly 1000 cutter enterprises and it has the name “hometown of the cutter”. The total value of output of the cutter enterprises in 2012 amounted to billions. Xixiashu cutter industry has the first-class production technology, and owns more than 600 advanced production facilities from overseas. It has advanced production technology, and its production cover nearly 90% in the national market. In 2013, they registered the trademark of Xixiashu Tools in Jiang Su Province.
HUST—Chang Zhou Xixiashu Tools Industry Institute will promote the scientificdevelopment of cutter tools in our university, and it will strengthen cooperation between universities and industry enterprises, broaden cooperation channels for scientific research projects. The university hope the related schools strive to promote platform construction and provide protection for the overall promotion of scientific research work in an orderly manner.
