In late November my daughter, dangerously ill, was admitted to intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital with pneumonia. Facing the critical condition of my daughter as well as the huge medical expenses I didn’t know what to do. Then it was the timely assistance of every leader, colleague and student of HUST that made me and my family have the courage and strength to overcome the difficulty. As a teacher of HUST, I feel the warmth from you in this cold winter.

After the treatment for more than a month, my daughter has been out of danger, transferring from the intensive care unit to a general ward for further treatment. Because of her serious condition, time is needed for further treatment, but I have the confidence to win the final victory — my daughter regains health in a short period.

My family suffers a lot, but at the same time we experience your love and care. After knowing my daughter’s illness, the leaders contributed 6,500 yuan immediately. Party Secretary Gao and President Li Dayong called to inquire about my daughter’s condition, and Yang Chun, the Chairman of the Trade Union came to the hospital to visit in person, which gave us great spiritual support. The Trade Union as well as every department, every school, library, kindergarten, campus hospital, Young Teachers Association and individuals donated money actively, except for the donations of Applied Mathematics Department and students, the total contribution amounted to 133,264 yuan.

It is the staff of
