At the invitation of the president Prof Miroslav Maslan of Sigma Olomouc Palacky University, the president Prof Marin Hristov of Bulgaria Sophia technology University and the president Prof Andreas Eleftheriades of Cyprus European University, the HUST delegation of 5 people led by Li Dayong paid a visit to the three universities from June 4th to 15th, which reached the expected aim and achieved a full success.
From June 4th to 7th, during the visit in Sigma Olomouc Palacky University in Czech Republic, the president Prof Miroslav Maslan of the university, vice President Prof Ulrichova, vice President Prof Vozenilek, vice President Prof Daniel, executive manager Prof Frebort of Science andTechnology Park, director PhD Uher of Asia Research Department, the Chinese dean Prof HuangXiaoMing of the Confucius Institute and other related personnel met with the delegation from HUST. Both sides had an extensive and in-depth exchange of views on science and technology education cooperation and discussed the cooperation pattern, which laid the foundation for the further cooperation. After the meeting, the two universities held a cooperation agreement signing ceremony.
From June 8 to 11, the delegation visited Bulgaria Sophia University of Technology. The university’s President Prof Marin Hristov, vice President Prof Valeri Mladenov, vice President Prof Ivan Kralov, dean Prof Georgi Todorov of the college of Mechanical Process Department, the chief editor of the university met with our delegation.
From June 12th to 14th, the delegation visited Cyprus European University. During the visit, the University’s president Andreas Eleftheriades met with the delegation. The two sides expressed the willingness to cooperate and said they will be conducting practical cooperation. The delegation also held many talks with vice President Kosta. Gouliamos of Cyprus European University, dean of admissions Marina Alexandrou, dean of Business Department Andreas Hadjis, dean of Academy of Sciences Nicos G.T erezopoulos, dean of Art Education Academy of Sciences Andreas Makris, dean of Humanities Academy Andreas Nora Liassis.
