Recently, a delegation of four from Belarusian State University including President Sergey V. Ablameyko, Vice President Oleg A.Ivashkevich, Liaison on Sino-Belarus Cooperation on Science and Technology Vyacheslav K. Leonov and Director of Office of Planning, Economy and Investment Management Ilina U. Antonnevich visited HUST at its invitation.

President Li Dayong and Vice President Zhao Hong of HUST met with the delegation. President Li Dayong warmly welcomed the delegates and reviewed the cooperation between the two universities in the past 8 years. President Sergey V. Ablameyko expressed his gratitude to President Li Dayong for his attendance of the 90th Founding Anniversary of Belarusian State University last year and raised new proposals on the development of HUST-BSU Joint Graduate School. Vice President Zhao Hong emphasized on the sustainable development of HUST-BSU Joint Graduate School and the official promotion of the undergraduates exchanging program in 2012.

Finally, the two parties arrived at consenses on the joint application for scientific programs between our two governments, aiming at promoting the development of both universities.
