Invited by People's Government of Fu’an City in Fujian province, Vice President Meng Dawei attended the Thirteenth Ningde Investment Conference of the Third Cross-Straits Electrical Appliances Fair, undertook by People's Government of Ningde City and hosted by People’s Government of Fujian province, Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and China International Trade Promotion Committee in association with China Machinery Industry Federation, China Machinery and Electronic Products Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, Chinese Medicines and Health Products Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of science and technology innovation fund for small and medium enterprises management center and other units.The conferences lasted for three days, with more than 600 enterprises participating, of which more than 250 are Taiwanese and receiving a total of 10000 visiting people and purchase and sale personnel.

Vice president Meng Dawei and his entourage met Lin Xiaonan, the mayor of the People's Government of Fu'an city, vice mayor Lin ruiquan and other government leaders and the electrical appliances manufacturing industry entrepreneurs. Meng Dawei also made a special trip to visit the the Yanan Motor Group of Fujian Province, conducted deep discussions with the general manager Luyou Wen and other business leaders on the enterprise’s technological innovation, product development and research cooperation and other matters and reached cooperation intention.

In addition, Zhang Xiaohong, the Director of the Science and Technology Department, representing our university, signed the comprehensive cooperation agreement with Lin Xiaonan ,the mayor of the People’s Government of Fu'an city, and accepted the interview of Fu'an city television station.
