Supported by Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, hosted by the Department of Higher Education and the Joint Committee of the Higher National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centre, undertaken by HUST and the Yongyou New Road Technology Co., Ltd., the 8th “Yongyou” University ERP Simulation Competition Heilongjiang Province Finals began on 2nd, June in HUST.
Vice President of HUST Meng Dawei, Director of Higher Education Office of Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education Ding Zhexue, Director of Academic Affairs Office of HUST Ge Baojun, Party Branch Secretary of Management School Qi Liangqun and the relevant personnel of the Yongyou New Road Technology Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the contest opening ceremony hosted by Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office of HUST Song Qingkun.
First, Vice President of HUST Meng Dawei delivered a welcoming speech, in which he emphasized that the aims of this competition were to improve college students' interest in learning, to apply the knowledge to practice, to motivate and train students’ abilities to integrate theory with practice, the ability of analyzing and solving the practical problems, to cultivate team spirit of students, to create a platform for the exchange of inter-school teachers and students, to promote the reform of content and method of higher teaching, to improve teaching quality, and to enhance college students’ ability of employment and entrepreneurship.
After the opening ceremony, the 8th “Yongyou” University ERP Simulation Competition Heilongjiang Province Finals began, which attracted 39 teams from 21 colleges to attend. All the contestants worked hard and showed their talents, and after a two-day intense competition, first, second and third prize of undergraduate group were awarded.
The closing ceremony was held on 3rd, June. Party Branch Secretary of Management School Qi Liangqun announced the winners of the competition and HUST won the Best Organization Award. Director of Academic Affairs Office of HUST Ge Baojun delivered a closing speech and announced that the 8th “Yongyou” University ERP Simulation Competition Heilongjiang Province Finals closed successfully.
