The 8th Cup of Challenge for College Students’ Innovative Undertaking Contest is held at Harbin Engineer University, which is hosted by the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Education Department and the Provincial Association for Science and Technology. Students in our university won two gold medals, one silver medal and four copper medals.
Seven works from our university are displayed, and all the works were praised by the deputy secretary-general in Provincial Party Committee Zhang Wei, the secretary of Provincial Youth League Committee Li Haoyan, and deputy director of Provincial Education Department Xin Baozhong.
Reviewed by the experts, Liu Xuesong’s works directed by the teachers Liu Xianli, Yang Jianzhao and Hao Ting, and He Bin’s works directed by the teacher Zhang Taifu were awarded the gold medal, whose works will participate the National College Students’ Innovative Undertaking Contest on behalf of our university. What is more, Fu Jianjun’s works directed by Hao Ting and You Jun won the silver medal. Fu Xun’s works directed by Shu Zhexing, Li Liang’s works by Sun Hui and Lin Yan, Zhou You’s works by Wang Rui and Dong Huaiguo, Wang Hongzhen’s works by Wang Zhongwen and Zhao Jun (from Rongcheng College) won the copper medal.
The 8th Cup of Challenge for College Students’ Innovative Undertaking Contest began in August, 2011, which was greatly supported and helped by the leaders and teachers in Management School. There were 70 teams participating the contest, 28 works of which entered the final contest.
The College Students’ Innovative Undertaking Contest can motivate more college students to take part in the scientific innovation and create a better undertaking atmosphere, which can contribute to the innovative activities for our students.
