On October 10, the signing ceremony for HUST & Chambroad Holding Talents Training and the inauguration ceremony of Practical Training Base as well as Employment Base were held in Shandong Chambroad Holding Co., LTD. HUST Vice President Meng Dawei, Director of the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering Liu Bo, Vice Director of the Department of Enrollment and Vocation Guidance Gao Shan, Vice Director of the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering Zhang Guiling, and Vice Secretary Xu Chenlin attended the ceremony. Vice President of Chambroad Holding Co., LTD. Luan Bo, Chief Human Resources Officer Yan Yu, Head of Technology Development Project Institute Zhang Jianlin, Head of Fundamental Chemical Research Institute Mu Dongping, Head of Fine Chemical Institute Wu Wenlei as well as Head of Biochemical Institute Xu Zeping were present.

Vice President Meng Dawei and other leaders firstly had a look at the sand table of the company and expressed admiration for the present development scale of the company. Then they visited the exhibition of the company’s products and achievements as well as the Museum of Chambroad Holding Co., LTD, having full confidence for the future cooperation.

In the symposium to exchange ideas,Vice President of Chambroad Holding Co., LTD. Luan Bo firstly introduced the basic situation of the company and development plan, and then briefly stated the cooperation intentions. Vice President Meng Dawei gave the introduction of HUST and the cooperation framework prospect with the company. Director of the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering Liu Bo introduced the general situation of the school and the specified content to fulfill the CDIO training mode. Head of Technology Development Project Institute Zhang Jianlin stated the detailed execution process of the cooperation. The two parties had a deep discussion on the cooperation project, reaching consensus on the issues of students practice training, teaching staff training, and graduate students training in the field of engineering, and they exchanged ideas on project cooperation, setting up laboratories together and other cooperation issues as well.

Afterwards Vice President Meng Dawei andVice President of Chambroad Holding Co., LTD. Luan Bo signed the agreement on cooperation and talents training and then the inauguration ceremony of Practical Training Base as well as Employment Base were held.

The establishment of the Practical Training Base and Employment Base would improve the teaching quality for undergraduates and graduates of HUST, enhance the employment rate and engineering practice ability of young teachers, and especially provide a broad platform to implement CDIO teaching mode.
