On June 14, on the invitation of HUST, Assistant Professor Tang from the University of Iowa came to visit our college. Dr. Tang Liang is the Assistant Professor of Tourism Specialty of human sciences school of the Iowa State University, tutor of international tourism research, whose main research direction is the tourism market and attractions planning. President Li Dayong met with Professor Tang Liangzhu, and invited him as a guest professor in our school. Xi Zhaohui, the director of International cooperation and exchange office, Professor Wang Hongqi and Professor Gao Changyuan, president and vice president of management School attended the appointment ceremony. During the meeting, both sides discussed the possibility of their further deepen cooperation, and common development of Sino-US cultural exchange program.

After the appointment ceremony, Professor Tang communicates with the teachers and students of tourism management, and made a presentation entitled "the overview of Iowa State University in US and for Chinese students how to succeed in the United States of America".

In the report, she describes the case of the Iowa State University, and the successful stories of her personal experience and some American people, explains ideas and methods of the successful overseas students in the United States of America. In addition, Professor Tang also introduced the overview of tourism professional of Iowa State University and her research of tourism science.

Professor Tang Liang’s visiting, enhances mutual understanding between the tourism mayors, for both the existing cooperation, expands co operational areas and depth.
