On Sep. 3, the commemoration of 70th anniversary of victory of Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese aggression and world Anti-Fascist war was held inTian’anmen Square. The military parades from five continents and 17 countries and Chinese military parade demonstrated in the parade. The dazzling performance exhibits the spirit and device of Chinese army. The audience invited include 60 model teachers, and Liu Xianli, the director of School of Mechanical Engineering of HUST and the National Labor Medal Winner, is one of them.

Liu Xianli felt exceedingly glorious witnessing the great moment in person. Seeing Chinese military parade, missile and plane, all the audience were excited and proud. The strength and power of the army impressed the audience deeply. A teacher is supposed to bear in mind one’s own mission and educate the young generation to memorize the history and work diligently. Liu Xianli hoped that all the teachers and students of HUST be responsible for the nation’s future. The prosperity ofChinadepends on the effort of all the Chinese, which is also the responsibility that history endows us. We are supposed to fulfill our own duty striving for the prosperity of HUST andChina.
