On July 30 and 31, more than 90 alumni from Mechanical Manufacturing, Electrical Machinery, Mechanical Engineering and Welding Majors returned to the campus to carry out the commemorative activities for 50th anniversary of graduation. The alumni reunited with the teachers, recalled the passing time. Alumni from Electrical Machinery grade 62, Mechanical Engineering grade 62 and Welding grade 62 presented a banner to the university to express their gratitude to the university.

On July 30, 27 alumni from Mechanical Manufacturing grade 61 came back to the university to carry out the commemorative activities for 50 anniversary of graduation. The retired professor Gong Hai(classmate) and Wang Lili, the teacher from Alumni Office took part in their activities, and the volunteers from “Home of Alumni” accompanied them. They have left the campus for half a century, and the youngest of them is 74, the oldest of them 77. They went to the first dining hall on west campus to have lunch. After lunch, they went to the south campus to visit the History Museum of HUST. The alumni felt proud for the development of the university.

After the visiting of the History Museum of HUST, they went back to the west campus and visited the Home of Alumni. All the alumni left messages for the Home of Alumni. They took photos on the west campus accompanied by the volunteers. Before they left the campus, they expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and arrangement by the university.

On July 31, more than 60 alumni from Electrical Machinery, Mechanical Engineering, and Welding grade 62 went back to the campus to carry out commemorative activities for 50 anniversary of graduation. The retired teacher Zhang Zuoxin (the teacher at that time), Wang Youzhi (the teacher at that time), Ma Lianqi (the teacher at that time) and the instructor Liu Hongtu from Computer College took part in the commemorative activities. Accompanied by the volunteers from Home of Alumni, the took photos in front of the gate on west campus and visit the campus. After they visited the Home of Alumni, they went to the south campus to visit the History Museum of HUST.

After the visiting, they went back to the west campus to hold the forum. At the forum, they presented a banner to express their gratitude for the university.

At noon, they alumni and the teachers went to the first dining hall to have lunch. All the alumni proposed a toast to express their gratitude for the warm reception and arrangement. They wish our university a better development and future.
