On the afternoon of Nov. 22nd, the second report meeting of the key working progress in the year 2019-2020 was held in No.2 conference room in the main building. Zhang Hongtao, Secretary of Party Commitee of HUST, Zhao Lin, President of HUST, Lu Yan, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of HUST, Guo Erjun, Fang Wenbin, Liu Shenghui, Chen Qingguo, Liu Xia, Vice Presidents of HUST, attended the meeting with the leaders from 16 related departments. The meeting was hosted by Zhao Lin.
Before the start of the meeting, Zhang Hongtao conveyed the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the twelfth session of Community Party of Heilongjiang Province and he made some requirements to implement the spirit. He stressed, it is an important political task to study and publicize the spirit, each department should unswervingly insist on the socialist idea with Chinese characteristic guided by Xi Jinping, reinforce political status, attach importance and work down to earth, combine the spirit with pushing key work so as to make satisfactory fruits with the whole faculty and students. Zhao Lin publicized the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th central committee.
During the meeting, according to The Division Task of Key Work in the year of 2019-2020 of HUST (Document No.62, Communist Part of HUST 2019, Division for short) the education with the theme of “remain true to the original aspiration, keep in mind the mission” should be built. The task includes six aspects respectively: complete the management system, deepen comprehensive reform, push “double first-class construction”, strengthen the service security, the preparation of 70th anniversary of HUST, the solution of left-over problems, which total 30 items. Each leader in charge reported their work progress since the first report meeting is over on Oct. 18th one by one. While reporting, Zhang Hongtao and Zhao Lin asked some questions.
Zhao Lin stressed, the key work which totals 30 items in the Division passed by the 111th standing committee of Communist Party of the third session is based on the actual situation by full research, consultation and seminar. It is the key content of the education of “remain true to the original aspiration, keep in mind the mission”, also it is the important measure to perfect management system, improve management capacity, smooth the system ,optimize the working process and push connotative development, besides, it is public promise made by the leaders to the whole faculty and students. Therefore, we will work to the end to achieve our aim.
Zhao pointed out, the main purpose of this stage meeting is to grasp the progress of key work, coordinate related problems, pushed the advancement of key work. It can be seen from these two meetings, the leaders and the departments in charge make great efforts, some work has progressed in order according to the original working ideas, test standards and deadline. Fixed assets clearance, engineering education professional certification, construction and perfection of the audition work has completed and made stage fruits. Before the coming of winter vacation, another report meeting will be held, the leaders in charge must make clear the responsibilities and their working aims, emphasize the major problem, go to the teaching frontier to know about the exact problems and find solutions. They should complete the work according to the schedule strictly and make advancements. Each department should be product-oriented, keep track and make communication with the leaders in charge to further know about the working aims clearly and make detailed plans to push the work. Meanwhile, the work left that has not been done and not included in the Division in the summer vacation should be planned and be pushed actively.
Zhao Stressed, we should study and implement the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th central committee and the sixth plenary session of 12th provincial committee, grasp the opportunity of “remain true to the original aspiration, keep in mind the mission”, further strengthen the construction of management system and capacity, further push the key work and find solution to left-over problems, and do not leave problems behind. Last, Zhao gave some advice to the working summary in 2019 and working plan draft in 2020.
Zhang Hongtao summed up, each department should combine the theme “remain true to the original aspiration, keep in mind the mission” with the 30 key work items, and make sure to grasp both in balance without compromising either one. Before the start of the work, each department should combine the theme education with their actual work, and list the standing book into the working plan in 2020 and the most important thing is to implement the work seriously.
