The 4th Final Russian Style Contest was held in National University of Economics and Service in Vladivostok on Oct. 13 in 2016. HUST teacher Wang Huan from School of Foreign Languages and Ma Heping from Grade 13 hit the final. Wang Huan won the Excellent Award in Language, and Ma Heping won the first prize in Talent.

The 4th Russian Style Contest was held by CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee College Working Committee, Education Department of Heilongjiang Province, China Radio International, Russian Association of Heilongjiang Province, General Consulate of Russian Federation in Shenyang, Northeast Network Station, National University of Economics and Service in Vladivostok and Heilongjiang University. More than 1400 contestants took part in the 20 preliminaries and semi-finals in 10 cities, and 16 contestants were chosen to go to Russia to have finals.
